Can't Get To A Clinic?
Although there are NFNZ clinics throughout New Zealand, sometimes clients just can't get there because of distance or personal circumstances.
Our Distance Education Service means that Natural Family Planning is available to all New Zealanders.. wherever they live. Even overseas travellers can use our service.
Materials & Support
New clients are provided with a pack of information with easy to understand language and diagrams. Over the next few months they are in regular contact with their NFNZ Educator by letter, email, fax or phone, providing an efficient, personal and supportive service.
Distance Service Educators
These are experienced clinic teachers, who are specially trained to meet the challenge of teaching on paper rather than face to face. They gather information about the clients' situation then deliver individualised teaching in direct easy to understand language and diagrams.
Compared With Clinic Consultancy
Couples learn at the same pace as clients attending a clinic at regular intervals, so after 3-4 contacts most would be independent NFNZ users. In general, couples who learn through this service are well motivated and say they enjoy the regular contact and prompt attention to any questions.
An Individual Focus
Because each woman's cycle and symptoms are different, teaching is personalised, so it is not possible for one person to learn from someone else's charts and letters. Interested friends of NFNZ users should contact the service directly to get personalised, individual teaching appropriate to their situation.
Fees May be paid in instalments – Cheque, Cash, Internet Banking, payment in instalments by Bank Deduction Authority available
